Abstract:

The GMA as part of its mandate is to be recording and monitoring some climatic conditions across the country, notable among them is Temperature. Temperature values are measured at various base station daily and this dataset is the output of some statistical interpolation performed on the data. This particular data is mean temperature between years 2000 to 2010

 

Purpose:

The purpose for which this dataset was created, was for CERSGIS's internal use for spatial analyses. Kriging interpolation algorithm was adopted to give a continuous representation of temperature values across entire country.
